“Professional Training for Today’s Athlete”

Athlete Training

Training of individual athletes is our main focus at DC Barbell. Most athletes are trained in small groups of 3-5 based on strength levels, age, and ability but each athlete receives intensive individual attention during every session.


Strength Training


Maximal Strength improvement is our core emphasis.

Maximal Strength Trains Athletes Too:
RUN FASTER JUMP HIGHER HIT & THROW HARDER

We use select and effective methods to improve in this area. Our employment of these methods also allows us to work on improving the athlete’s mobility, flexibility, and conditioning.


Speed Training

Speed training is taught secondarily to, but in conjunction with our strength training program. Emphasis on proper running mechanics, form, and integrating these aspects into a training routine are also taught.

Individual Training

Some athletes out prefer to train individually to receive more individual attention. While we strive to coach each athlete intensely at all times, we understand this desire and are more than willing to accommodate these athletes.
